According to their website, the Sacramento Grove of the Oak was founded in 1998, and “is an eclectic group of Druids, Wiccans, and other Pagans who gather...[for] Celtic seasonal festivals, to share community, perform ritual, create magic, and support each other in [their] chosen earth-honoring pagan paths.” April and Jennifer have not yet finalized the exact topic of their presentation, but will likely speak on the nature Druidism as practiced within the Grove, and will share what they see as mutual perspectives and values shared by atheists and Druids, especially as they relate to living in a predominantly Christian society. While arranging to host April Hollon as AOF's speaker for March 2010, an interesting fact emerged: April is an atheist! She describes herself as an "atheist Druid." April and Jennifer Jaffe, who will appear with her, are directors of The Sacramento Grove of the Oak.
