It's A
pril, and that means Sunday mornings when the Bible-people hammer at your door to assault you with Bible eye-beams. It also means a time to celebrate the planet. Which do you prefer?
Slip out early on Sunday, April 24, before the evangelists come calling, to join your AOF besties at the Sacramento Earth Day Festival at pastoral Southside Park, 11 am to 4 pm. Sac Earth Day is a delight -- a textured phantasmagoria of art, live music, vegan-friendly food trucks, cute dogs, assorted cults, earnest screeds, tables piled with free swag, and a showcase of electric vehicles. Find the AOF table in the NW portion near the picnic area. Come and say hi and hang with us for a respite and chat. We will be there all day and get lonely.
Note, this is AOF's hasty alternative to a General Meeting in April. Otherwise we'd be watching Davey and Goliath reruns on Lutheran cable, and who wants that?
